3. Grammar Focus: Location \cdot erbs and Sentence Patterns

When giving directions, the following structures are common:

1. 在…左/右/前/后 + 动词 (zài … zuǒ/yòu/qián/hòu + verb) – “Turn left/right in front of …”.
2. 经过 + 地点 (jīngguò + place) – “Pass …”.
3. 到…后 + 动词 (dào … hòu + verb) – “After reaching …, …”.
4. 在…附近 (zài … fùjìn) – “Near …”.
