  • Identify and use key vocabulary related to digital devices, services and documents.
  • Conjugate and apply the futur proche and pronominal verbs to describe digital actions.
  • Describe, explain and give advice about digital tools and online safety in French.
  • Analyse and adapt written digital texts (e‑mail, blog) for different registers.
Materials Needed:
  • Projector and screen
  • Printed vocabulary handouts
  • Worksheets with email excerpt
  • Whiteboard and markers
  • Audio recordings of dialogues (optional)
  • Laptops or tablets for group guide creation
Introduction:

Begin with a quick poll: “Which digital devices did you use this morning?” to hook interest. Review previously learned tech‑related vocabulary and ask students to share one device they own. Explain that by the end of the lesson they will be able to describe, explain and give advice about digital tools using the futur proche and pronominal verbs.

Lesson Structure:
  1. Do‑now (5’) – Students list personal digital devices on a sticky note and share a brief sentence.
  2. Presentation (10’) – Teacher introduces key vocabulary and the futur proche structure with examples on the projector.
  3. Guided practice (10’) – Conjugation drill of “aller + infinitif” and short pronominal‑verb exercises, followed by a quick Kahoot quiz.
  4. Role‑play “Le support technique” (15’) – Pairs act out a client‑technician scenario, using futur proche and pronominal verbs; teacher circulates to give feedback.
  5. Group task: create a digital guide (20’) – Small groups write a 150‑200‑word guide on creating a file‑sharing account, include a mini‑vocab table, then present their guide.
  6. Rapid self‑check (5’) – Students answer three short questions on futur proche, cloud terminology and passive voice.
Conclusion:

Summarise how the lesson met the objectives, highlighting correct use of futur proche and the new vocabulary. For the exit ticket, each student writes one sentence in futur proche describing a digital action they will do tomorrow. Homework: compose a short paragraph describing a favourite app, using at least two pronominal verbs and one expression of frequency.
