Introduction:

Start with a quick question: “What happens to the greasy pizza you ate last night?” Connect this to prior learning about enzymes breaking down carbohydrates and proteins, reminding students that fats need extra assistance. Explain that by the end of the lesson they will be able to describe bile’s function and trace its role in fat digestion.
