Introduction: Begin with a quick world‑map poll: ask students to point to a country they have visited or heard of. Review previously learned vocabulary for country and language. Explain that today they will be able to identify countries, state their nationality, and talk about the languages they speak, with success measured by accurate sentence construction in the practice activities. |

Conclusion: Summarise that students can now correctly name a country, its nationality, and the language in Mandarin and use the target structures in conversation. Collect exit tickets where each learner writes one sentence about their own nationality and language. Assign homework to create a mini‑poster of another country with its Mandarin terms. |
